A blend of Sencha green tea and matcha powder. Introduced to Japan by Buddhist monks, matcha is traditionally used in the tea ceremony. Three weeks before harvest, the tea plants are shaded to develop smooth, creamy aromas. Finely ground into powder, matcha is then blended with Sencha leaves to create a liquor that is round, smooth, and rich in what the Japanese call umami (savory taste).

INGREDIENTS : Sencha green tea (Japan) 97%, matcha green tea powder (Japan) 3%.
