SAINT JAMES 12 YEARS OLD 70CL

This 12-year-old aged rhum agricole is a cornerstone of the Saint James distillery, representing the expertise of one of Martinique’s oldest houses. Aged for over a decade in selected oak barrels, it achieves a remarkable maturity that balances the intensity of the wood with the natural elegance of pure sugarcane juice.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance (Robe): A crystalline, copper-mahogany hue.

Nose: Ample and rounded woody notes, a direct result of the long interaction between the rum and the oak.

Palate: The experience begins with deep notes of undergrowth and roasting (coffee, toasted nuances). It is followed by bold spices, notably nutmeg, which gradually yield to smoother, sweeter notes of cinnamon and prunes.

Character: A powerful yet balanced rum with a rich, complex texture.
