SAINT POURCAIN PERLE DE CHASSIGNOLLES DOMAINE GARDIEN 75CL

The base wine is crafted from a blend of 80% Chardonnay and Tressallier. The grapes are harvested from 15-year-old vines planted on a clay-siliceous plateau. Early harvesting is practiced for the "Perle de Chassignolles" to ensure a balanced base wine that promotes excellent sparkling development. Following temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation, the wine undergoes a 9-month sparkling process.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Pale yellow in color with fine, persistent bubbles and a lasting bead.

Nose: Displays a floral character along with a beautiful touch of green apple, a signature trait of the Tressallier grape.

Palate: The attack is supple, followed by the support of the bubbles, resulting in a beautiful length.

Food & Wine Pairing

Particularly pleasant as an aperitif, served neat or enhanced with a liqueur (crème) according to taste. It also pairs well with various desserts.
