Bottled by Elixir Distillers, Port Askaig 100° Proof is an Islay single malt that is full of character. With its notes of sweet fruit, smoke, and minerality, it has become a must-have for lovers of peated island whiskies.

Style: Mineral and fresh. Peat, lemon, and sweet fruits.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Smoky and full-bodied. Notes of smoked ham, ash, and exotic fruits, developing into a salty and maritime character (sea spray).

Palate: Crisp and stony at first, with an intense minerality that quickly becomes sweet, rich, and indulgent (café au lait, milk chocolate). Spices emerge gradually, adding licorice and cinnamon-spiced apple alongside a thick charcoal smoke.

Finish: Sweet, spicy, and very long. The cinnamon-spiced chocolate slowly fades, giving way to dried apple peel.
