A true "Grand Cru" of the spice world, Voatsiperifery is a rare wild pepper harvested by hand in the heart of the Madagascar rainforest. The vines of this elusive plant grow wild on the trunks of tropical trees, reaching heights of up to 30 meters, making the harvest both difficult and dangerous. Its name comes from voa, meaning fruit, and tsiperifery, the name of the plant in Malagasy.
