Kilmory is named after the parish where the village of Lagg is situated, the home of the Lagg Distillery. As the first permanent release from the distillery (the peated counterpart to Arran Distillers), this single malt is the quintessential expression of the "Lagg style."

Crafted from Concerto malted barley peated to a robust 50 ppm and utilizing local spring water, it is matured 100% in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels. This aging process creates a powerful backbone where intense peat smoke harmonizes with the creamy vanilla and oak influence of American white oak.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Fresh and vegetal with a fruit-forward core. It offers distinct notes of heather smoke and charred citrus.

Palate: A dynamic balance of smoke and fruit. An initial explosion of bright fruit flavors quickly gives way to a deeper, subtle bonfire smoke.

Finish: Long and expansive, dominated by lingering citrus zest and earthy peat.

Style: Heavily peated, creamy, and vibrant.
