IZARRA GREEN LIQUEUR 40% - 70CL

Created in 1906 in Hendaye by pharmacist and botanist Joseph Grattau, IZARRA ("The Star" in Basque) is the emblematic liqueur of the Basque Country. The recipe remains faithful to the original, combining tradition with botanical expertise.

The process involves a distillate of plants and spices, alongside a double maceration of prunes and walnut husks. After distillation in copper stills, it is blended with Armagnac to achieve its characteristic depth and complexity.

TASTING NOTES :

Nose: Fresh vegetable notes, featuring mint and camphor with a pinch of warming spices.

Palate: Beautiful amplitude and harmony between flavors. It offers a striking balance between the natural freshness and the powerful intensity of the botanicals.
