This indulgent recipe combines the natural sweetness of figs with the delicate crunch and distinctive flavour of walnuts. Made with 50 g of fruit per 100 g of jam, it offers a rich texture and beautifully intense fruity character.
Walnuts (2.1%) add delicious nutty notes, complemented by sesame seeds and a subtle hint of anise. Cane sugar enhances the natural sweetness of the figs, while concentrated lemon juice brings balance to the recipe.
Delicious at breakfast on fresh bread or brioche, this jam is also particularly well suited to sweet and savoury pairings. Try it with a cheese board, especially goat’s cheese, blue cheese or mature cheeses.
