Discover this delicious Extra Damson Plum Jam, prepared by the Trappist monks of Sept-Fons Abbey in the Allier region of France.
Generously fruity, this traditional jam is made with 55 g of damson plums per 100 g of finished product. This distinctive variety of plum is prized for its rich fruity flavour and delightful balance between natural sweetness and gentle tartness.
Combined simply with cane sugar, the plums reveal their full character in an authentic and delicious recipe. A touch of concentrated lemon juice provides balance and enhances the natural flavour of the fruit.
Perfect for breakfast, enjoy it spread on fresh bread, brioche, pancakes or pastries. It is also delicious with yoghurt or fromage blanc and makes an excellent fruity filling for tarts and homemade desserts.
