This 10-year-old aged rum from Guadeloupe is a meticulously crafted blend of spirits that have matured for at least a decade in small 190-liter oak barrels. This long contact with the wood in a tropical climate has resulted in a rum of exceptional depth and a characteristic "mellow" texture.

To fully appreciate the aromatic complexity of this 2001 vintage, it is highly recommended to serve it in a dedicated "Arôme" tasting glass.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A sophisticated and bold bouquet featuring notes of cigar tobacco, ripe yellow-fleshed fruits, passion fruit (maracuja), and fine leather.

Palate: A charming evolution from the initial attack, gradually smoothing out to reveal sweet and delicately fruity undertones.

Texture: Remarkably mellow (moelleuse) and coating on the palate.
