COGNAC XO – MERLET & FILS (AOP COGNAC)

Merlet & Fils Cognac XO is a classic expression for lovers of aged eaux-de-vie, offering a profile that is both round, warm, and elegantly refined. This blend, crafted by Gilles and his two sons Pierre and Luc, is made from very old cognacs (minimum 10 years), all distilled in their own traditional stills and aged in the family cellars.

It is composed of different crus from the Cognac appellation, resulting in a rich and fruity aromatic palette with a distinctly Merlet style.

TASTING NOTES

EYE: Deep golden brown

NOSE: Complex and rich, with aromas of white flowers, orange peel, and vanilla. A wide aromatic range from citrus zest to floral and vanilla notes.

PALATE: Bold and generous, with a smooth roundness and subtle oak influence. Clear and persistent fruity notes with a structured, elegant finish.
